A normal skin type is characterized by being neither too dry nor too oily.

It has no or few imperfections, no severe sensitivity, barely visible pores, and a radiant complexion.
These are some of the advantages of having a normal skin type.
However, it’s important to note that skin type can change over time due to factors such as aging, hormonal changes, weather, and more.
So even if you have normal skin now, it’s important to take good care of it to maintain its health.
Here are some tips for taking care of normal skin:
Protect yourself from the sun by using sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Sun exposure can damage your skin and cause premature aging, wrinkles, and spots.
Choose a sunscreen that is broad-spectrum, water-resistant, and suitable for your skin type.
Treat your skin gently by using a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser and avoiding harsh or drying soaps.
Cleansing your skin helps remove dirt, oil, and makeup that can clog your pores and cause breakouts.
However, over-cleansing or using harsh products can strip your skin of its natural oils and moisture.
Use warm water and a soft cloth to wash your face twice a day.
Hydrate your skin with a good moisturizer, morning and night. Moisturizing your skin helps lock in moisture and prevent dryness. Choose a moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin type and climate.
For normal skin, you may want to use a lightweight lotion or gel in the summer and a richer cream in the winter.
Consider using a non-irritating AHA or BHA exfoliant and a moisturizer with skin-restoring and skin-soothing ingredients. Exfoliating your skin helps remove dead skin cells and improve your skin’s texture and tone.
AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) and BHA (beta-hydroxy acid) are two types of chemical exfoliants that can gently dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells.
AHA is more suitable for dry or sun-damaged skin, while BHA is more suitable for oily or acne-prone skin.
Use an exfoliant once or twice a week, after cleansing and before moisturizing.
Follow with a moisturizer that contains ingredients such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, or antioxidants that can help repair and protect your skin barrier.
