Reporting Piracy of EAE Products
Should you suspect that EAE products, services, software, documentation, or articles are being copied, sold, or distributed without proper licenses or authorization from EAE, please notify our Legal Department directly at copyright@eaces.us.
Use of EAE Screenshots
EAE products, services, and associated article images are proprietary copyrighted materials owned by EAE.
Screenshots, defined as individual screen displays from any EAE product, affiliate program, or service, are fully protected by copyright. (For guidance on using our company name and logos, please refer to the EAE Trademark Guidelines.)
Using More Than Five (5) Screenshots
For the use of more than five (5) screenshots in any published work (e.g., website, blog, article, book, white paper), a formal permission letter from EAE is required. Please reach out to our copyright team at copyright@eaces.us. Your request should include details about your work, the specific screenshots required, and a sample chapter for our assessment. Approval is contingent upon the screenshot content not exceeding 25% of your work’s total content.
Using Five (5) or Fewer Screenshots
For the use of five (5) or fewer screenshots in a published work, permission is granted, provided you agree to and strictly adhere to the following terms and conditions:
-
This permission grants a fully revocable, non-exclusive license and does not transfer ownership, title, or any other right or interest in EAE’s screenshots. EAE reserves the right to terminate this permission at any time by notifying you of the termination for your specific use. Furthermore, EAE may revise or withdraw this general permission without prior notice.
-
Your use must not directly or indirectly state or imply EAE’s sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your product, service, or published work.
-
Screenshots must be reproduced in their entirety; no alterations are permitted except for proportional resizing. All commentary and analysis related to EAE screenshots must be clearly attributed to you and not to EAE.
-
This permission does not extend to EAE screenshots derived from beta products, products subject to non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), or those not yet commercially released.
-
EAE screenshots may not be incorporated into comparative advertising, obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit materials, or any content that, in EAE’s sole discretion, is disparaging or defamatory towards EAE, its products, or any other person or entity.
-
EAE expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, in connection with your use of EAE screenshots. Your use of EAE screenshots is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
